Up here in Ont. the first wknd in Aug has monday as a holiday...So a few of us took a ride north to the Durham area for the Abate Rally...It was a hot dry wknd and the party was great ...I'm going to let the pics talk for me again...Run your cursor over the pics for story ...Enjoy...
Since EasyRider Mag. first coined the ABATE back in the 70's it has had many meanings ...This is what it stands for for the Ont arm of ABATE...
Fri. evening , ready to ride in Brampton...
Willy and Sue's bikes are rolled out...
Jeff & Ann are packed and ready ...
We took a scenic ride up to the rally...Stoped here and there...

Kind of early in the evening for a full moon ???
Were here , got signed in and went to set up camp...
We found a couple of trees as a backing and set up our tents...
The girls get ready , Friday night there was a band and we sort of took it easy sat by the fire with the band in the background and chilled out...
Sat. am was cool and dewy , a big change from the heat of Friday...

The sun started to warm up the camp...
The Preachers cabin had free coffee...

Afew of us took a ride into Durham for supplies ( beer ) and then down to the Varney Inn for some breakfast...
All 3 of these bikes are Willy's work...
back at camp it was warming up...
People were starting to get mobile...
I went for a walk around the camp and checked things out...
Lots of good iron movin' around...
This PanHead was parked at the Leathermans booth...
Willy & Sue checkin' out what games they were going to enter...
And yes when you move the tassles the chick is wearing a thong...
As we waited for the games to start I checked out some of the action ...Like this Honda 4 throw back to the early 70's...
I helped build a few of these when I was a teenager...
Now this is COOL triumph chopper with stacks...
Fuck'n AAAAAA...
This Trike pulled up behind us and 2 Wild Blondes got off and started setting up a shade canopy...
The T says " No more nice girl on your knees basterd " ...

Sandy's coming to watch the games...
Sat. afternoon was a beaut with temps in around 30c and lots of sun...Perfect for a few cold ones and to watch some fun...
Bikes were comin' in to sign up ...
