Middle of Aug 07 , Willy and I took a ride out to Fowlerville Michigan to check out the EasyRider Rodeo...We left the GTA area early { 6am } and rode west on the 401 ...Weather was good except for a cold dip a little west of London on the 402 ...Temp . must of dropped from 15c to about 5c for a hour or so ...But after that it warmed up again ...We crossed at Sarnia Ont ( Port Huron ) on the US side , that took about 45 min. ... Heavy volume of traffic ... We took our time stopped for lunch and cruised on out to the Fairgrounds ...By MapQuest the ride was just under 5 hrs we took 7 hours ... We got registered and went hunting a place to camp ...The camping was open Thur 6pm and the place was already packed ...We found a spot that was flat and clear of corn stalks and set up ...Now I think there was about 6000 or more campers and they had everything from RVs to party buses to little pup tents ...Though I think trailers and RV's were the main group , Most people we talked to all wknd were amazed we had rode 300 miles to be there...
The whole atmosphere of the place is a giant ride around Mardi Gras , people ride anything and everything around the park ( you'll see in the pics ) and the Ladies collect beads for showing tits ( good trade ) ...The midway has the vendors , bands & bike show ... The games are held on the field with a huge Grandstand to sit and watch from... After we were set up we took a ride around to find a Walmart and get Willy an airmattress ...Then back to the fair ...We spent Friday night hanging around and watchin' the fun roll by ...Ok now on to some pics...
