A few months ago my Bro Stan asked if I wanted to do an " Iron Butt " run with him...I thought about it for a while then said hell yes ....So he hooked me up with the website for the Motorcycle Touring Forum and I signed up...Now for those who don't know an "IronButt " run is doing 1000 miles ( 1600 km ) in  24 hours or less...Both Stan and I do a lot of long riding so we figured we could handle this...The date of the run was June 11/ 05 ..Starting point London Ont
The route was London 401 east to 400 Toronto , North to 11 and on to Northbay , 17 east to Ottawa , 417 to 34 , south to Cornwall then back onto the 401 west to London..Sounds easy right : ).....I set up a place to stay in London on Friday night with a Great Lady Biker Amazzon . So we fought rain storms and the Friday after work traffic and headed out around 6 pm.

We pulled into Ammy's place a little after 8 pm and I finally got to meet the Lady...6 foot plus wide shouldered and big mmmmm ( yup I think you get the picture ) and her man Rob and daughters and their friends , dog ( Sandy ) cats and I think thats it..It was great of Rob and Ammy to open their home to us ...Ammy , Stan and I did a beer run and I got to say Ammy rides her Dyno full tilt and gave us a merry follow the leader down Dundas St......

We visited , chowed down on Pizza ( get that reciept yet Ammy ) then hit the sack around 11pm...We were up around 5 am loaded and headed out for Elite Performance ( Victory Motorcycles ) to sign in and get riding...
