On Saturday July 7 / 07 myself and a few friends went for a ride down to Niagara New York for the Niagara MC bike Rally... We had heard about by word of mouth and were not sure what all was there...I'll give you my take on the rally.. ???? they seem to do a lot of bragging on their site but it was not much more than a medium size swapmeet ...Now to be fair , it seems they have had to move a few times over their 4 year life and they seem to be set up more for the evening and night ... We were there from around 1pm to 4 pm ... We may ride down again next year maybe on the Friday evening and stay over till Sunday...Though being right in the town of Niagara there is no camping so it will be a Motel stay...
So instead of dwelling on the Rally I'll tell you about our ride ... Myself & Jeff & Ann hooked up with Sue at her place in Brampton and took a ride over to a Timmies on the westend of the city to meet Willy ( who was on a early morning part run ) , Kevin and Bill & Jo-ann Kevins parents...
Bill & Jo-ann called to say they were running late and would meet us in NY...So we took to the backroads down through Burlington ( with a stop under the lift bridge to watch a small regatta of sailboats head out on to Lake Ont. ) and down through the winery country to hook up with Dave in St. Cathrines...The pics of us moving is thx to Ann :)...
